Richard Schiff: At the end of that scene, which is beautiful and poignant, it’s a foretelling of what the staff is ultimately gonna do after getting thrown around by the betrayal of this (MS) information. They do what Donna and Josh do in that scene.

Hrishi Hirway: That was crazy! She even says, “Yes, you are better than my old boyfriend.” Basically saying, “You are my new boyfriend.” The whole thing is framed around him giving her flowers. It is a love story.
Richard Schiff: It’s also a loyalty story. That’s the key of that relationship. What they’re talking about is, “I am loyal to you, even though you’ve crossed me.”
